Both the Travel Agency and the Parcel Office has been changed alittle.
  • The small contracts in both are now for airlines under the rating of 30 and not 25 like it was before.
  • The medium contracts in both are now for airlines under the rating of 130 and not 120 like it was before.
  • The large contracts have a limit now aswell, they are for airlines under the rating of 1000.
  • In both Travel Agency and the Parcel Office i added a new category - Extreme Contracts.
  • The challenge contracts were removed from the Travel Agency.
  • The amount of passengers and cargo needs to be carried in order to finish the contracts is changed aswell. Those are the new numbers:

Travel Agency:
Small Contracts - 9,000 - 12,000
Medium Contracts - 14,000 - 17,000
Large Contracts - 65,000 - 70,000
Extreme Contracts - 190,000 - 220,000

Parcel Office:
Small Contracts - 1,600,000 - 1,900,000
Medium Contracts - 2,000,000 - 2,400,000
Large Contracts - 19,000,000 - 23,000,000
Extreme Contracts - 60,000,000 - 70,000,000

I have few more idea's on how to make the contracts better for everyone but this will be made later on.
Wow! Serious changes.
No contracts for me anytime soon Wink

I'd give it a try if the reward was better..these goals are 15 times higher the reward should be much better than shown then it be worth the risk
Great, now I have a reason to cancel more flights and lose rating so that I'll be able to do realistic contracts.

Agreed...no more contracts for me. The requirement is 15 to 20 times greater, the reward is less than double.

Yes, the contracts were easy, and perhaps something needed to be done...on the otherhand, the reward was not huge.

I still think that the game is too hard for beginners. I have advised quite a few new players, and what helped them get ahead was doing a few quick contracts to make cash...I can't see those contracts, but I hope they were not made more difficult.

It will be easy to dismiss these comments as "just being negative", but this a HUGE adjustment, and in my opinion, a over-adjustment.
Even with 15 planes A380-800 will be almost impossible to close an Extreme contract within one week: I cannot stay 8 hours a day in front of the computer to start and land my airplanes to close a contract.
Contracts are an exciting part of the game: it is ok to make them harder to close, but not impossible to do.
And, in this way it will be completely impossible to take a contract to Honolulu, for example
I suggest the Administrator to reduce drastically the amount of passengers of the Extreme contracts: between 100.000 and 130.000 will be fine, in my opinion.

Regards to all.

I think the people who fly 24/7 get enough incentives. Why reserve contracts for them too?
I spend a lot of hours a day in the game and I took one of the Extreme contracts with only 6 An-225's to cover the contract with. I will have to carry 146,443,254 KG to complete it within 7 days. I did it to test the Extreme Contracts because I am able to dispatch my planes every 1/2 hour if I want to.
EDIT: It will only cost me $12 million when I fail but is going to be a good challenge.Smile

LOL...good luck ole buddy Big Grin
Well...right now I'm #1 in passengers carried and I won't be taking out a passenger contract at all now. Taking an extreme contract would require 2/3 of my pax capacity, going off the Leading Airlines screen. I can't be on that much.

I send transatlantic overnight and return via several stops, including 2 segments of about an hour, 1 segment 2.5 hours, and 1 segment 1.5 hours. While those routes are being flown, I do other stuff. The extreme contract forces me to either keep my planes grounded near the contract city while I am afk/asleep or drop to 3 hours of sleep so my "overnight flying" is only to REK and I can get back to my contract city faster, and be on 24/7 at that.

No, thank you. The reward would have to be on nine figures (excluding cents) to make up for the lost revenue from not being able to do medium/long flights to keep my planes in the air 24/7.

I also just began diversifying into cargo in the hopes of being able to take parcel contracts or pax contracts (makes it easier to get the cities that aren't too far off my schedule), but now it looks like the only point in getting cargo planes is for better rating.

I think admin might've overshot the contract requirements.
